Perceived Harm From The Harmless Month

Stalking is one of the worst convictions anyone can be accused of.  Stalking was originally intended for people who make a “credible threat of death or great bodily injury” toward the victim, placing the victim in reasonable fear of the same.

The legislature may have compromised laws for other people who fell into a trap when Robert John Bardo murdered Rebecca Schaeffer and/or included the behavior of Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker, and Mark Chapman.  The movie, Fatal Attraction, probably instigated a lot of wrongful convictions. Peeping toms or other insignificant behavior use to be misdemeanors. But, today, it could end up as a felony.

The common legal elements can be misconstrued to include ANY HARM at all. I've heard many depraved and indifferent persons laugh and bully people if someone is just looking at another person. I heard it in a trial once when a juror described her job as a grocery clerk stocker. The jokes are indescribably evil and should be considered bullying under bully laws because a person can be at the mercy of a corrupt court bent on completely destroying someone using depraved indifference.

A stalker conviction is heinous and can be worse than murder or rape or even someone who has been convicted as a sex offender. This status can literally cripple someone wrongfully accused. It can disintegrate physically and crush their will to live.  It gives vigilantes an opportunity to literally stalk that person. And, it can go on longer than any Nazi driven Holocaust. It is a form of torture and a psychological torment for someone who has been wrongfully convicted of such a crime.

The definition of bullying includes a non-exclusive list of specific behaviors that constitute bullying, and specifies that bullying includes intentional efforts to harm one or more individuals, may be direct or indirect, is not limited to behaviors that cause physical harm, and may be verbal (including oral and written language) or non-verbal.

According to a Florida: Fla. Stat. Ann. 1006.147(3) (2010): "(a) ‘Bullying’ means systematically and chronically inflicting physical hurt or psychological distress on one or more students and may involve: (1) Teasing; (2) Social exclusion; (3) Threat; (4) Intimidation; (5) Stalking; (6) Physical violence; (7) Theft; (8) Sexual, religious, or racial harassment; (9) Public humiliation; or (10) Destruction of property. . . . (d) The definitions of ‘bullying’ and ‘harassment’ include: (1) Retaliation against a student or school employee by another student or school employee for asserting or alleging an act of bullying or harassment...[and] (2) Perpetuation of [bullying or harassing] conduct ... by an individual or group with intent to demean, dehumanize, embarrass, or cause physical harm to a student..." It explains that bullying may include, but is not limited to, acts based on actual or perceived characteristics of students who have historically been targets of bullying, and provides examples of such characteristics.

Statutes from the prehistoric days makes clear that bullying does not have to be based on any particular characteristic. Bullying does not apply to vulnerable adults. Thus, as we spread afflictions to other adults, the children must learn in school not to do what adults do even though they are our role models. The children are the parents and should parent the parent. So, there will be extra homework on the plate of the minor until the adult role models of leadership are understood by the minor child.

How can we best use the verdict from the Ravi trial, and the death of Clementi, to teach kids about the powers and the perils of bullies? After all, Ravi was from India where those citizens do not behave as we do. He was taught to bully by Americans.

They say that part of the fascination with the Clementi trial was that most people could relate to the basic details of the case. Millions of U.S. adults remember being college freshmen, struggling to find common ground with new, unfamiliar roommates and neighbors in a residence hall.  


But, we all know that the Ravi case will fade into history and state-sanctioned violence and insults created for political domination of a dehumanized plutocracy will be the ubiquitous commodification.

This case was not merely barbarism parading as reform - it is also a blatant indicator of the degree to which sadism and the infatuation with violence have become normalized in a society that takes delight in dehumanizing itself.

The tough new questions raised about social media, the internet and cyberbullying, educators, and for all of us who post opinions, photos and personal information of every sort online does not send warnings about the real consequences of bullying.

The control society is the ultimate form of entertainment as the pain of others, especially those considered disposable and powerless, have become the subject not of compassion, but of ridicule and amusement in America.

Reveling in the suffering of others for the sadistic impulse to merge spectacles of violence and brutality, human suffering is the American form of entertainment designed to raise the collective pleasure quotient.

Intimidation comes from looking powerful, abusing power, using power to extort and exploit our fears. It's about getting away with shitting in our faces not because Ravi was making fun of Clementi's sexual orientation.

The potential for tormenting others comes from adults: media, parents, lawyers, police, and state and federal judges: To them, criminal intimidation is understood as stupid pranks, not the other way around. How many more youngsters have to go to prison because of the malice of adults?

The next actions or inactions will be written off and the culture of violence, cruelty and disposability will continue along with economic injustice and massive inequality. Obama has urged the cooperation among law enforcement and declared that "...soul searching" is needed throughout the country in the hopes that we get to the bottom of exactly what happened in the Trayvon Martin case.


But we all know the powers and the perils of federal, state and local bullies who use state-sanctioned violence, sadism, barbarism, and insults created and intended with malice to dehumanize American citizens.


To figure out exactly how this tragedy happened federal, state and local refuse to look into the pattern of police abuse and the use of deadly force this author has screamed about since 1994.  Consciously and/or unconsciously, the humiliation and punishment for this author making it her choice to restore her integrity, community respect, and honor has backfired and now America will reap the consequences for allowing the police abuse and brutality to continue.


Although One of the most fundamental of all human rights is that humans be treated equally before the law. The indespicable case now pending in the Inter-American Court has been going on for 25 years. The silence in the face of her injustice is reprehensible allowing the sickness to spread like a viral deadly disease.


It's about getting away with flouting civil and human right violations in our faces.The use of their criminal intimidation abusing power to make it appear powerful while using power to extort and exploit our fears. 


If American citizens would have gotten to the root of the evil in the first place, the current abuses would not have taken place and they would have ended a long, long, time ago. But left ignored, the viral deadly disease has taken it's toll for many.  Left dead from suicide or law enforcement abuse, accept the consequences for refusing to pledge, "justice for all."
